Every product deserves the right care.
Many of our products are made to be handled, displayed, worn, used during spiritual practices, or incorporated into your everyday rituals. Proper care can help maintain their appearance, functionality, and longevity.
Please read the care instructions below carefully before using any Tattva Sutra product.
Important: Different products have different care requirements. Always handle your product according to its intended purpose and follow any specific care instructions provided with the product.
1. Akhand Diyas
Akhand Diyas are traditionally used with a continuously burning flame and require constant attention and responsible handling.
How to Care for Your Akhand Diya

Place the diya on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

Keep it away from curtains, paper, clothing, furniture, and other flammable materials.

Keep children and pets away from the burning diya.
-
Do not place the diya near fans or strong air currents.
-
Use an appropriate quantity of oil or ghee as intended for the diya.
-
Do not overfill the diya.

Keep the wick properly positioned.
-
Allow the diya to cool completely before moving, cleaning, or storing it.
-
Clean the diya gently after it has completely cooled.
-
Store it in a dry and safe place when not in use.
Fire Warning
Never leave a burning diya unattended.
An open flame can cause fire, burns, or property damage if handled improperly.
Do not touch a diya while it is hot.
Do not move a burning diya from one location to another.
Customer-Damage Warning
Breakage, burns, stains, cracks, deformation, or other damage caused by improper use, accidental dropping, overheating, misuse, or failure to follow these safety instructions will not be considered a product defect.
2. Pooja Items
Pooja items may be made from different materials and may include delicate decorative or functional components.
How to Care

4. Brass Items
Brass products can naturally change appearance over time due to exposure to air, moisture, oils, and environmental conditions.
This natural change may include tarnishing, darkening, or developing a patina and does not necessarily indicate a product defect.
How to Care for Brass

Wipe the item regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

How to Care

Spiritual products are not necessarily designed for physical impact, water exposure, extreme temperatures, or other forms of rough handling.
Damage resulting from improper use or handling is the customer's responsibility.
6. Candles
Candles contain an open flame and must always be treated as a fire hazard.
Before Lighting

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.

Keep the surrounding area clear.

Remove unnecessary packaging or decorative materials before lighting.

Ensure the wick is positioned properly.

Keep the candle away from curtains, paper, clothing, furniture, and other flammable objects.
While Burning
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children and pets.
-
Keep away from strong wind, fans, and air conditioners.
-
Do not move a burning candle.
-
Do not touch melted wax or the container while hot.
-
Do not burn the candle near other heat sources.

Stop using the candle if the container becomes excessively hot, cracked, or damaged.
After Use

Extinguish the flame safely.

Allow the candle and container to cool completely.
-
Never pour water onto a hot candle unless the product instructions specifically permit it.

Store cooled candles away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
Fire Warning
Improper use of candles can cause fire, burns, injury, or property damage.
Tattva Sutra is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper candle use, unattended flames, misuse, or failure to follow safety instructions.
7. Healing Pyramids
Healing pyramids may contain delicate decorative elements, stones, crystals, resin, metal components, or other materials depending on the particular product.
How to Care

Handle the pyramid gently using both hands when necessary.

Place it on a stable and level surface.

Keep away from edges where it may fall.

Avoid dropping or hitting the pyramid.

8. Crystal Bracelets
Crystal and stone bracelets can contain natural stones that may vary in colour, pattern, texture, and appearance.
These natural variations are normal characteristics of natural stones.
How to Care

Put the bracelet on and remove it gently.

Do not pull or stretch the bracelet excessively.
-
Avoid hitting it against hard surfaces.
-
Remove the bracelet before activities that may expose it to excessive water, chemicals, sweat, heat, or physical impact.

Keep away from perfumes, lotions, cleaning chemicals, and other harsh substances.

Avoid wearing it during activities where the bracelet may get caught or pulled.

Water & Chemical Warning
Not all stones or bracelet components are suitable for prolonged exposure to water or chemicals.
Unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular product, avoid prolonged water exposure.
Important
Natural stones may have internal variations and may not all have identical strength.
Breaking, chipping, scratching, stretching, snapping, or other damage caused by customer handling, accidental impact, pulling, misuse, or improper storage is not considered a product defect.
9. Rudraksha Bracelets
Rudraksha beads are natural materials and should be handled carefully.
How to Care

Keep the bracelet clean and dry.

Avoid prolonged exposure to water.

Remove before bathing or swimming unless the specific product instructions state otherwise.

Avoid perfumes, chemicals, lotions, and cleaning agents.

Do not pull or stretch the bracelet unnecessarily.

Natural Rudraksha beads may have variations in shape, texture, colour, and surface appearance.

10. Malas
Malas can contain beads made from Rudraksha, crystals, stones, wood, or other materials depending on the particular product.
They may also contain thread, cord, knots, tassels, or other delicate components.
How to Care

Avoid stretching the thread or cord.

Customer-caused breakage or damage is not eligible for return or refund.
11. Natural Stones & Crystals
Natural stones and crystals can vary naturally from piece to piece.

For products that include jewellery components such as elastic, thread, cord, metal fittings, clasps, beads, stones, or other delicate parts:

Warning
Wearable products can experience normal wear and tear over time.
Damage caused by stretching, pulling, snagging, dropping, impact, improper storage, chemical exposure, water exposure, or misuse is not considered a product defect.
13. General Storage Instructions

14. Customer Responsibility & Damage Policy
Please inspect your product carefully when you receive it.
Tattva Sutra is committed to addressing genuine product issues in accordance with our applicable return and refund policy.
However, damage caused by the customer after delivery is not considered a product defect.
This includes, but is not limited to:

No Return / No Refund for Customer-Caused Damage
Products damaged due to improper handling, misuse, accidents, negligence, or failure to follow the care and safety instructions are not eligible for return, replacement, refund, or money-back claims.
Tattva Sutra may request photographs, videos, or other information to assess the condition of a product and determine whether an issue appears to be a product-related issue or customer-caused damage.
15. Natural Variations Are Not Defects
For products made from or containing natural materials such as crystals, stones, Rudraksha, wood, or similar materials, natural differences may occur.
Variations in colour, shape, texture, markings, inclusions, grain, and other natural characteristics may be present.
Such natural variations are generally part of the character of the material and should not automatically be considered defects.
16. Safety Comes First
Some Tattva Sutra products involve fire, heat, small components, natural materials, or delicate construction.
Please always:

Keep products away from children and pets where appropriate.
